We’re a Riverside crew that’s been fixing gates and openers since 2009, working under the Cedarwell family of independently owned and operated gate specialists. What ties us together isn’t a uniform or a slogan. It’s a shared habit of showing up on time, laying down drop cloths before we step inside, and explaining the price in writing before we touch a single bolt. Most of us have worked on gates all over the Inland Empire, from the older wrought-iron driveways in the Wood Streets to the modern aluminum builds going up in Orangecrest. We know Riverside’s heat, its hard water, and the way both of them age a gate opener faster than the manual says they should.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Cody Beckman, Owner
Cody started with Latch and Post as a technician and took over the Riverside location after years of running repair calls across the city. He still rides along on the complicated jobs, the ones where a gate has been off its track for weeks or a client has been told twice that a motor needs replacing when it actually needs a bearing. Cody knows LiftMaster, FAAC, BFT, Linear, Viking, Ghost Controls, DoorKing, Elite, and Mighty Mule well enough to talk you through what’s failing and what it should cost before you commit to anything. On weekends you’ll find him working on his own driveway gate, which he rebuilt three times just to see if he could make it quieter.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been turning wrenches on gate systems for over a decade, and he’s the guy we send when a Viking operator starts grinding in mid-July and the homeowner has already reset the breaker twice. Riverside heat does that, especially on units mounted on south-facing walls. Marcus is factory-trained on FAAC and Viking, holds a low-voltage certification, and can usually have a swing arm re-torqued or replaced inside an afternoon. He keeps a small notebook in his truck with notes on every gate he’s ever worked on in Riverside, which sounds old-fashioned until he pulls it out and remembers exactly which hinge was wearing thin on a property in Canyon Crest two summers ago.
Elena R., Senior Installer
Elena runs most of our gate installation projects, from single pedestrian gates in the Northside to full driveway systems with keypads and safety edges in Mission Grove. She’s meticulous about concrete depth, post anchoring, and gate weight, the three things that determine whether a new gate still swings level five years from now. Elena is trained on DoorKing and Ghost Controls and has a particular talent for retrofit work, making a new operator work with an old gate without cutting corners. She grew up in Riverside and has a habit of pointing out which houses on a street she’s worked on before, which our clients seem to enjoy.
Devon P., Service Coordinator
Devon is the voice you’ll hear when you call (341) 895-4331 at 2 a.m. because your gate won’t close and your dog has decided the open driveway is an invitation. He’s been coordinating Riverside service calls for six years and knows the map of the city well enough to tell you honestly when a technician can reach you. Devon also handles the scheduling around quiet hours. If you’ve got a newborn at home, he’ll make sure the tech shows up with quiet tools and works around nap time. He’s the reason every appointment comes with a written price before work starts, even the same-day ones.
One Standard, Every Job
Every technician on this crew works to the Cedarwell C.A.R.E. values, and we mean them literally. Clean up like it’s our own home means shoe covers go on before we walk through your front door and drop cloths go down before we set a tool bag anywhere. Ask before we move or touch anything means your potted plants, your kids’ bikes, and the boxes in your garage stay exactly where you left them unless you tell us otherwise. Respect the family’s time and quiet hours means we show up when we say we will and we don’t run impact drivers during nap time if you’ve told us it matters. Explain the price before the work means every single visit comes with a written quote, no exceptions. And because we’re part of the Cedarwell family, every repair and installation carries the 365-Day Done Right Promise. If it isn’t right, we make it right. That’s the standard our whole Riverside team is measured against, on every gate and every opener, year-round.
